I have no experience but i have heard a couple stories of guys that have given it a shot.It is an interesting strategy but I think it is very difficult and I would think you need prior experience (or partners with experience in the field) in order to pull this off successfully.The one thing I do know is that the maintenance expense for a gold course is absolutely ridiculous, so just be sure you allocate a sufficient amount towards your expenses if you end up underwriting this. 

Prior to forming the S-corp, my husband was a 1099 contractor in the same field with the same contracts.The catch: the IRS bungled our original S-corp election and we are in the process of attempting to resolve this with them. 

I got into Real Estate 17 years ago and I entered the field by becoming a Realtor.I did not have a clear entry point into investing and decided that becoming a Realtor may open some doors.

I am net new in real estate, still have a w2 job in the IT field. 

I am looking for recommendations on some good real estate investing books that you have read and think would help me gain more knowledge in this field ( I am currently reading “rental property investing” ).

WE provide an apartment-size washer and dryer in our apartments because they are on a septic and we want to control how much waste water is going into The septic tank & field.  

Any advice, tips, books or fields of real estate investment to go to?

@Brian PaineThere are fields that are visible to agents that the general public cannot see such as showing instructions and notes to other agents that is intended to only be read by other agents.

I am a 24 year old father of 2 sons in Dallas TX looking for a career field to began creating some type of foundation for my family through this pandemic.

As others have said, get a job first, preferably in the same field.
