Professional not meaning that you have to pay high dollars but should have someone with a good decorating eye walk thru the listing and add accent pieces to give color and flair to the space.  

Add any other color as you see necessary. 

I imagine, and correct me if Im wrong, that adding air ducts and HVAC to all units would be easier all together.

Five different paint colors, shoddy cosmetic repairs here and there, 3 different flooring types and old as hell.

And what color?

We offered less than asking and requested that the cosmetic work be left undone (because we'd prefer to pick the paint colors, etc.).

I was definitely wearing some rose colored glasses.

Our place was updated in a fan favorite color scheme (grays, whites), and furnished the same way. 

It frees up countertop space, looks good, and can vent right out through your hood fan ducts. 

I also think a lot of banks' views are still colored by their experience in the crash (and rightfully so).
