There is no statutory 1031 reason that would make you wait 2 years after completing your 1031 to contribute to the LLC.

I never completed that flip because a huge tree fell on the house and I sold it as is… my question is did you do the work on your house yourself and do you know of any reliable contractors you can refer me to?

Should we setup an LLC specific to the property (123 ABC St, LLC for example) and dissolve at completion?

We are not planning on buying now because the market in Orlando is too competitive and we want to pay off the first home completely before going on that journey.

@Mikk Phillips Completely agree with you, noticed that kind of variability when I lived there.

This provides privacy, avoids public records searches and when you pass away it walks around probate and delivers your asserts to your heirs without the need of an attorney.A land trust is a strategy not a complete tool box.

If you have experience with getting all the documentation compiled, completed and signed and such kindly share your experience!

You will meet people in those classes that can help you along the way.Another way is to find the deal then get a partner to help you complete the deal and split the profit.
