I was just quoted rates and I almost lost interest at the 1% origination fee, until I saw that others were quoted similar. 15yr fixed full amortized 4%, 1% fee.10yr fixed, then 20yr ARM (30yr amort obviously) 3.875%, 1% fee.

We almost lost some deals because they were so slow.

Any real world examples of where you actually lost a law suit in an amount greater than your liability insurance?

We ended Bretton Woods because we lost control of the gold price despite repeated interventions in the market with the London Gold pool.

You lost the ability for writeoffs including depreciation.

I set things up so that if I do get scammed I can still make money even if I lost some during the process.

Most agents find that Re/Max has the best solution for experience agents and still great resources...I started with a small boutique brokerage, and got 0 training and I floundered for 6 months before I started to really get how it all worked...don't make the same mistake I did - in retrospect, I wasted time and lost deals because of it.

I've read the articles on BP as well as some articles on other (albeit lesser quality) websites and blogs that focus on real estate investment, but I'm still pretty lost when it comes to finance.

I will take any clarification on that, but where I get lost is in the financial aspect.
