The neighbors have not been super happy, which is curious since the property had 3 abandoned houses on it that had squatters in them off and on for the past 10+ years, but I guess change is hard.

However it has been our experience that all of our rentals have "paid for themselves" (mortgages, HOA fees, utilities, advertising, and any other expenses) after our initial investment of down payment/closing costs & the cost of all of the furnishings/bedding/linens/etc needed to get the property up and running. 2) We only owned 2 of our condos on Okaloosa Island during 2017; one of them was rented 236 nights and one was rented 279 nights.
