I can only speak for myself, but the projected returns would meet my search criteria.  

My father was career Air Force and I was in the Navy and I can say that it is highly unusual that someone entering active duty is able to project where they will be stationed. 

Additionally, invest in other real estate projects.

Developer likely purchased land wrong and paid too much and then tried to take short cuts to make the project work.

@Edlira Clevenger are they using the projected rental income to offset your new PITI payment? 

But not sure if i should get a duplex..triplex ...start a flip project ...buy another single family ...so I am asking what next steps would anyone of you take ?
