Talk to a pm in the area to be sure there are no surprises coming up in the area.I would do this deal all day after having a full inspection.

Talk to a local RE attorney, but generally simply paying the taxes will not give you title....by "redeeming" it goes back to owners of record, prior to the action.  

My questions may have sounded obvious or ridiculous, but Bigger Pockets is always talking about creativity in real estate, so I thought it couldn't hurt to brainstorm.

@Rick Santasiere and @Jonathan Makovsky, I'm trying to reconcile the language to make sure what I want to do is OK (short of talking to an attorney, which comes next).First, the statue Jon quotes includes the phrase "and for a fee, commission or other valuable consideration" as a prerequisite to the list of things a broker does (including collecting rent).

Who would I talk to get something like this going?

I first asked the downstairs tenants to let the upstairs tenants know when there was disruptive noise - they refused to talk to them.

All that stated I'm talking California speak right now not knowing what the zoning ordinances are in Indians which is where I'm assuming you'll be attempting to relocate it.What's wrong with just leaving it there and trying to sell it?
