One organization that I have used regularly is www.narpm.orgJust find the PM, introduce yourself, let them know what you are doing/looking for and ask them if they can provide contact info for agents that either own REI property or work with REI consistently.

Organizing an LLC should be fairly easy and cost effective.

Anyone have any experience with or thoughts on assigning a contract to a local Housing Authority or nonprofit organization?  

It's not just about having organized, meticulous accounts.

I have worked over many years experience in a non for profit organization with rehabs and new builds well over $30,000,000+. although i have not seen every transaction through. i have had many contracts, construction contracts, city and government reporting and many small community projects come across my desk.

I have been using mind mapping software to help me finalize my 2015 goals, my organization structure, my business plan, etc.

@Kevin Davis - You may have better luck networking with attorneys organically.
