I am looking for someone who has my best interest in mind and who is willing to educate me not just sell me.

I suggest educating yourself as much as possible by reading the forums, listening to the podcasts and  connecting with people on the site as well as meeting other local investors (Just to mention a few).

More agrees I've with enforcing rules, more frequent property inspections.

All you need to do is read the blogs or post a question and the responses will be educating and gratifying.

I haven't been at an auction before so going will be educational.

They then have more opportunities to frequent local business, contribute to charities and enhance the economy of The Dalles.

I am happy to deactivate that account for you should you wish to no longer use it.2) We certainly do not permit advertising for anything educational in most of our forums and from this post it seems that you are not-so-subtly promoting educational materials and/or content that you would like BiggerPockets users to go check out.  

I think I got my money's out of it, but then, they try to sell you on buying their education for $20,000.

My goal right now is to educate myself with the help of books and hopefully mentors.
