You don't want to fall in love with the place, but you do view it as to its appeal, the functionality of a property, the wow factor however little that wow might be, the question is ......

I honestly looked at the photo and my eyes were drawn to how impressive the house looks...I mean the curb appeal is impressive.   

People can come and appeal there assessments, too, and get the value lowered. 

Condition - don't go crazy on landscaping, but pay attention to "curb appeal"4.

But it could have the intended effect of them thinking it will make life easier.Pay closing costs:  Yes this would be something that I think would jump out at them and be appealing.  

I tried calling to appeal my code violation but I got no answer and no call back, lol.

Multi-family properties seem to be pretty appealing to me; house hacking could be really up my alley.

In the coast is tricky as for nicer and more appealing areas for vacationers the real estate sky rockets.

Over the last 4 years I have been quasi "house hacking" (hopefully I don't have to pay any type of royalties to use that term) buying homes that are less than appealing, fixing them up, renting them for top dollar, and moving on to the next.

I am familiar with the 203k loan and find that quite appealing.
