Maybe if I left it running a little stronger, but I did not like that idea too much...)I live in Texas so I don't feel your pain so much but I have had  busted pipes at least once a year.

Not sure if you ever swapped wax rings before but they are a pain in the A$$. 

Generally - it seems - that ripping a band-aid now rather than dealing with a slow drip of pain over time is preferable.

As long as your landlord is following those rules, you are pretty much compelled to be out on whatever date.Good luck - While moving is always a pain, new starts are often good. 

In the beginning when we only had a couple of investments, each vacancy or capital expense was painful.

Basically, the less pain it is to qualify for a loan, the more of a premium you pay.

Short sales are a pain in the you know what!

The Providence station (IMHO) gets lower ridership because parking is such a pain, and the bus doesn't link well to the station.

Building codes and materials have come a long way and if you dont account for the expense up front it may be really painful post purchase.Personally I had to completely replace plumbing including the sewer drain pipes under the foundation because they were cast iron (pay me now or pay me later situation) and electrical because of code.  

The upside is that you limit the amount of pain you will experience if you follow through.
