At least in Ohio, being a commercial broker/agent is simply branding. 

Assume floors are brand new today. 1000 sf of flooring.

Hey guys, I am brand new to the forum but looking to immerse myself further into the real estate field.

They must have renovated the property to match the surroundings - new flooring, brand new stainless steel appliances, a fresh coat of paint, etc.

Curious as to why I always see the same bland flyers “ we buy houses for cash” is there a reason to not brand the flyers with your LLC or some kind of logo?

Don't worry about the 'brand' name, it's just a platform to operate on, no different than Realtors.... the Keller Williams or Long and Foster is irrelevant, what matters is that Realtor.

I'm a brand new out-of-state investor, and starting in Cleveland as my target market.

Assume 1 is brand new.

An independent mortgage broker reduces that to 1-3 (& yup, you can cut that down to zero by getting all the licenses I have, and so on, which is about 3x as hard and 5x as expensive as getting your real estate agent license -- and if it's a choice between those two, becoming a Realtor will save you more money to boot as well).No brand recognition.

I added ceiling fans, a brand new refrigerator/freezer, and washer and dryer.
