No red flags there. 

My guess is the reasons above (time, cost), but there could be disclosure items that would raise red flags.

My goals when touring a property are to confirm my assumptions, get a feel for the neighborhood, notice any red flags, and build rapport with the broker.  

Worried me for a while and I didn't change addresses for a while so as to not raising red flags if anyone checks.And if you go ahead and get NOO loans, the down paying and DTI requirements are tougher.

@Ari Hadar, paying $2,500 before loan approval is a huge red flag.
