If the market tanks next year, you might have a performing rental but the equity will disappear.

I also thought that once fixed and cleaned up with a new paint job, older rental houses would command about the same rents as equivalent-sized newer houses According to HUD (Housing and Urban Development), about 500,000, lower income rental units are disappearing in this country annually.

We haven't done business together as of yet, I do know your pain, ( As I have dealt with plenty of them myself), but to dismiss all of us would be a mistake. 

Either way i figured getting at least my first real investment other then my personal home going and start going thru some of the growing pains was the right direction.

Hey @Akash Y.Actually I didn't - I talked to a bunch of people and it seemed like remote management of short-term rentals could be a pain.

What I mean is if you physically write a check or hand cash, you feel the pain of losing the money every month.

I am a little reluctant to change the tax election of A LLC due to my attorney's advice and it just being a pain.
