I would look at the problem very mathematically, and I would look from a "worst case" perspective.

The assembly version , has a yearly "fee" , a mandatory registry, inspection mandates, a water tax(for cape cod) and, most ominously, a graduated tax rate applied to owners of multiple properties.Like your area, Cape Cod ,has been a thriving short term rental market long before the internet was a thing.

David,  this is part of the cycle.. so many especially on BP started in real estate after 08 and their only perspective is the once in a lifetime buying opportunism that existed in 2009 to 2013 ish 2014 ish.. depending on area of the country.now to me its getting back to normal.there should not be thousands of wholeslaers there is simply not enough deals for all these who think they can make money doing that ... but they will find out..

Usually people just want to break even so they can use it for free multiple times per year.

Plus the seller's agent has to tell other buyers "We have multiple offers" and if they say, "oh really, full price?"

From a rental perspective, I couldn't endorse CC in general because I had better opportunities in other NC cities like Greenville.

And I agree that if I were doing this multiple times that it may look suspicious.
