On the few occasions where the company rented the flat directly I had to put the lease in my name a couple of times - tenants in a residential lease in that jurisdiction had to be natural persons - but did have it in the company name several times as well.Check your regulations/laws and, if uncomfortable, as an officer of the company to co-sign the lease.

@Marwin BalibreaWelcome to Bigger Pockets, lots of great information and people to connect with here.Sounds like you have a strong plan going - that's a 1st good step - congratulations. No shame in buying REI educational products, I have quite a few.It only took one good deal to pay back all the courses I've purchased.I still buy products on occasion, if nothing else, just to compare what I'm doing as a do-it-myself rehabber to other business models.Cheers,- Joe

Terry Royce Best day for postcards to land
14 September 2009 | 12 replies
there are more aggressive investors like us out there grabbing them up before you even get a chance to let lick the stamp. Now in a big city like Phoenix, obviously Mike and I aren't going to be able to knock on every door but I can assure you we're not the only ones fighting over "who's first" and I'm not saying "who's first" will win but I can assure you they have a better chance than the 10th guy knocking or the 10th postcard in the mail. knock on that door with blank contracts in hand ready to be filled out and the confidence that they are going to sign them today and you are going to feel good that you are helping a homeowner out while at the same time, very possibly making the same amount of money they do all year long on this one deal. now with postcards, obviously if you're to busy to knock on doors, I would say it's the next best thing right.
