@Nancy Webb my advice to you would be to go on google and call every single local bank that comes up for Pontiac and the few neighboring cities. 

I personally have a Google alert for the term real estate investor and about once a week i get an article about some syndicator that has duped investors out of millions.My point was simply that we should just not shrug and say oh well the bankers did it and so we 'experienced'  investors should expect some fraud from some of the syndicators.I believe we should try to change things by being shocked and condemn them whenever we see this behavior.Sorry if you see this as being on my 'high horse' but that is what I believe.

I enjoy the webinars but often put it at a slightly faster speed on YouTube if I'm familiar with it.

Presently I work full time at Wal-Mart as a Maintenance Supervisor and wish to be able to earn a self sustaining income through real estate so that I can retire my 9 to 5 job, be my own boss and have time to travel with my wife and enjoy life.

I haven't been there in person but I think the neighborhood looks very nice from pictures and google map. 

I'm an agent here and would love to have a chance at an phone conversation, but at the very least....can give you some names of agents that I've enjoyed working with, that are professional, and are quick to communicate.

The downtown area actually doesn’t have much to enjoy IMO. :)
