As I've always stated, it all depends on your goals and objectives.  

That's what I'm afraid of and even though I'm not looking to retired anytime soon but the equity is like a shinning object syndrome that's hard not to pay attention to.

Get boots on the ground and objectively decide if it is truly turn key and bring a highly reputable inspector to verify.

I did buy 350 SFRs coming out of the recession but as stated landlording just is not my thing sold them all 4 years ago.. so just look for the next real estate shiny object.. but the real estate license and what I learned from 18 on and all the contacts I made being an agent through the years set up all my later business's and success's.. and of course there were failures along the way.. the 08 meltdown about killed us.. but now its in the rear view mirror

There is no loan or inspection objection. 

@Rachel Steenland You need to start by clearly identifying your objectives.

Sounds like you take your issues and use it to prepare to overcome objections down the line.

I think you have some great goals and I think you'd be best served by setting some broader objectives like, "what do you what your lifestyle to be like, and by when?"
