We looked into it a few years ago, managed a few properties, but then had to make a choice between scaling it up from the few we were running and be serious about it, or, giving the few we managed to other property managers.The problem we could not get past was that making 10% on small sums of money to start with just isn't that inspiring.

I am a licensed general contractor and have been doing flips and rent preps for investors and property managers for the last year and when things slowed down this winter I went to the local REIA meeting to try to do some networking and got inspired.
