Liz,One suggestion that I heard recently was that if you aren't sure about some of the books, tapes, videos, etc. being offered, you may be able to take a look through them at your local library.

Also, I am sure there are plenty of real estate accounting books that can help you.

Anyone who's going places knows or should know that you should always save at least 5% of your income to invest in books, courses and educational training.

Unlike many other sites, we don't try to shove courses, books, and other "guru" material to our investors.

I have read a few different books on investing.

So if you can't find the original deed then you can check out the plat books and get a ball park idea of how old the house is.
