Typically you want to find a retail buyer who wants to live there if you are looking for a top dollar offer on a SFR home.

There is a surplus of retail space, especially now. 

Some thoughts were a parking lot, another commercial space like a restaurant or another retail space.

Anyone own an A Class retail building that is worried it will get trashed or eventually?

For example on a super hot summer day, the AC will not get repaired at a home warranty home because everyone is calling repair people, and the first people to get repaired are retail or property managers that give routine business.

I helped ran a family business of four salons for about 13 years, sometimes I really miss the retail/service industry. 

With all the retail going online and everything is becoming more virtual, I believe personal services such as massage which cannot be done online would stay strong in the changing economy.
