I'm a REI newbie and I would like to find a mentor to work with and learn from.Currently, I work full-time and travel with work but have completed the Mortgage Loan Originator coursework for my state (New York) and am considering getting my RE Salesperson License as well as Title Closing Certification.Are there other things I can do/learn to make me valuable to a potential mentor in my area?

yep i'm with Arlen on the importance of labor laws and liability thus the need for a legal middleman if you employ anyone other than a licensed independent contractor under a written contract, even if it's a 'consultant' or 'virtual' assistant/temp.

We also had issues with our general contractor who's subs weren't fully licensed and were careless, which resulted in several delays and several failed inspections.
