But I'm not a lawyer, though I have spent a fair amount of time discussion these questions with a lawyer.

I also use the CrimeReports app - I like the way it gives me fairly detailed information on the location and type of crime committed.

I've just been in too many situations where I've sent them bunch of letters to sellers that fail to clear up an obstacle they may have put up in their mind as to why they cant' or won't sell the property (i.e. they think they have to pay off the delinquent taxes first and don't have the money).

It's up to whatever all of the parties agree is fair.

You do 6-7 of these, and you've got a fairly healthy monthly income.

I too used them to get a 25k loan @ 9% to be paid back over 3 years...fairly easy to do if credit is good (can use for rehab).

It does seem more fair that the price be split but that is how the system works for now so we might as well use it as it is.Plus, in the long run, the buyer pays their share of the commission anyway.
