Hello All,I am new to bigger pockets.

I’ve heard that he’s actually taken money out of his pocket to protect his investors.

I wasn’t going to live off of the proceeds of the apartments, I could afford (of the poop hit the fan) to come out-of-pocket to cover the mortgage if I had to, etc.

Unless that deal is a pocket listing or other kind of off-market deal, the property has been exposed to the market so its current value is exactly what you are paying for it, not a penny more.  

Since we have clearly defined the date parameters, I would be walking away with a return regardless if the property sales, as the LLC promises to pay out-of-pocket by then.

Well as I began to research this idea a little more, I stumbled across the bigger pockets podcast and I instantly realized how much bigger our goals could be than one vacation home.  

I soon learned it it was less cash out of pocket to just finance the home at the time of purchase.

Also, found Bigger Pockets a few months back and love it, just wish I would have found it sooner!

I would be careful throwing out terms like "lazy landlord" to people who are logged in to a forum like Bigger Pockets looking for advice and knowledge.
