Particularly interested in investing in Columbus, Ohio and Tokyo or Fukuoka, Japan.Recently read a few books including Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Bigger Pocket's The Book on Rental Property Investing. and as a result have been looking more seriously into it.Although investing in the US seems pretty straight forward (especially as an American and with all the resources available), investing in Japan as a foreigner seems to be a bit tricky and not so black and white.

Foreign investors are running towards US for investment as safety.We will have lower interest for very long time and stock market is not providing enough return, that attract everyone in real estate... i can see slow but steady appreciation in real estate for next few years.As everyone concern about no GREAT deals in their market and start looking another market but actually it is better to keep investing in own market with GOOD deals...Just my thoughts... :)
