If so charge a fee to enter the hunting preserve.Plant trees along the shores and down some in the water to make fish hiding spots for anglers.Sponsor drag-boat races once a month.Rental pedal boats, call it courtship lake and have a wedding venue for rent with a view of the lake.Sell it to the YMCA to use as a summer swimming camp.If you own the land adjacent, build on that.Easier fish to fry than this project.Just my 2 cents...

I am part of a network of STR investors all over the world (including the Smokies, Joshua Tree, and Florida) and everyone is having a hard time making the numbers work but the Poconos still hold strong.You definitely need to be careful with STR regulations but do your research and team up with a great realtor (@Mark Shay is a Rockstar) who understands/keeps up with the local meetings.
