The leasehold should file the agreement in public record on title to create their superior interest in the solar equipment or those parts of the equipment setup which are not "permanently attached" to the building or "constructively attached" to the building/property.Now that said, you probably have to look to the lease agreement in regards to any repossession rights reserved by the leaseholder.

You will likely need to find a private lender to fund this deal.Also, since the property is vacant and not producing income, you will not qualify for permanent financing.

@Sara Lung not really, and speculating on commercial real estate is a whole different ball game and can be extremely risky, but in general it won't have much of an affect, casinos are pretty common and are all over in my area and don't have an impact on surrounding values.

So yes while the value of properties may fall during a recession, who cares as long as I am getting my rent checks it has no impact on me.I think where you buy also depends on your goals, if you are looking for cash flow, appreciation or both?
