I should add that I hired contractors take all of the nasty carpet out which smelled like dog pee, etc and made the house very musty especially in the basement which had a leaking sewer line that was copper and the plumber put in pvc which was not cheap but now no more problems with leaking sewer waste.

I’m not so worried about dogs and am more worried about cats.

What do y’all think is most important/urgent to fix vs not so important.

No way I would just let anyone come on in without having a quick chat about who they are, why are they coming here and if they will be bringing a dog etc.

When you Do move out, there should be less urgent maintenance issues (or fewer surprises).

If he's not reporting non-urgent issues in a timely fashion, then there is no reason to jump on it and get it done right away.

Currently house has 6 dogs inside and 1 cat!

They have a small emotional support dog and also a cat.

We asked our tenants to move out due to the blatant violation of the 'no pet' clause, but the damage has been done, and the unit reeks of dog pee.
