I do have some business credit cards I opened too, applied with my SS# since they largely go off your personal credit for the initial approval. 

There's a lot of really good information out there that can be absorbed while you raise your initial capital (if not already done).

bought house being a foreclosure. initially bought as a flip. demo house myself. repaired what i could. contracted out what i could not. tried to sell with no success. decided to rent it out and refinance.

Prior to making an offer, we're allowed one initial viewing of the inside of the property. 

Initially we decided we were going to do a 3-4 BR rental (with my brother in law as a partner to help with the DP), but I’m wondering if it’s better to do a 1-2 BR and do it solo, if the net cash flow will be almost the same at a lower purchase price?

USAA initially appeared to be helpful but second conversation w/ their adjuster they do not accepting liability.
