Its a nice neighborhood, they built some of the homes in the late 60's, the street its on was a cul-de-sac and then they added another phase in the 90's and turned this street into a regular street, so most of the homes on the street are 90's homes and they're are pretty well kept.

Realtors will provide the best deals to those who have the ability to close quickly without drama/issue.It's really a 2-way street and they will feel more comfortable with providing you deal opportunities after you prove yourself and do a deal or two with them.It took me awhile but I've now got 4 or 5 Realtors that me first crack at deals when they come up.

If your property stands out for some reason (newly remodeled, close to some amenity, etc.) then you may be able to charge more, but if somebody can go down the street and find essentially the same thing for less they won't even look at yours until after they've ruled the other one(s) out for some reason (which likely won't happen).

As a result, nobody has purchased it and the house has remained boarded up......the city feels that once boards are up, and the house is "winterized", they never would need to pay attention to the house again.......unfortunately, trees cant be winterized, they grow and will do bad things unless maintained. city disagreed....eventually a tree growing at a 45 degree angle on their property decided it wanted to fall because it couldn't support its own weight anymore. the tree fell in the middle of the street onto my house, destroying my cinderblock wall and chain link fence.
