I suspect you don't recommend leaving the taxes unpaid, but if the closing agent were given instructions to not pay them, that the title could still change.

I got all my ratings in college, went to go banner tow in Miami which ended up being short lived due to a boating accident, moved back to Atlanta where I flight instructed through grad school, then instructing (and flying) tapered off because I went to work for Lockheed and eventually moved to CA with them so wasn't in the air much.
