My family is working on a new construction for a MF in La Mesa and wanted to see if anyone here has any experience doing the same or being involved in MF construction in the city of La Mesa.

You'll need to change the use from residential to hotel, which will require a lengthy process that includes physical upgrades and changes to the building.Basically the City wants the property to conform to safety standards for that particular commercial use.

Again this parcel will not have any road frontage.The county that this park is in has a population under 100K and the city has under 10K of that total.

Go to your city and see what they think.

I would hope that maybe I could even subdivide into .925/.925 acres if the city were stiff about it.

Recently ,when I was listening to the BP podcast and their "Famous Four" questions, I had thought of a question I would like to ask you all. 

After receiving notices from the City of fines which they allowed happen, I fired them with 30 days notice.  

Because of my location, I have a variety of options, from smaller multifamily places in a city with low crime, larger 6-10 unit low rises in higher crime areas, or bigger 10-20 unit low rises in small towns.
