Needless to say- I got no packages/mail forwarded.I can also update that I consulted with two lawyers (one through a free service my job offers, kinda like legal shield lol, and the other is my closing attorney), they both agreed it is not a serious claim and doesn't warrant a response.

Might want to pay for about a half hour of legal consultation while the lawyer reads your lease an insurance. just to CYAYou were very nice to let her off the hook but in her head you were kicking her out, so now she wants to find a way to think that its all now your fault.

Since you will be living in it you could homestead the property and as your primary residence, it should be sheltered from litigation but consult an attorney to be certain of the laws in your state.
