I have the exact same question and feel we are likely in similar spots. 

We are free from the confines of a traditional work schedule and can really dedicate as much time as is needed to manage and maintain our hopeful real estate business.

My wife and I have been looking to purchase an owner-occupied multifamily property for months and with limited supply and low returns, we are adjusting our strategy.

I own an IoT company and we are thinking of building a sensor-based product for property managers.

We scout properties online, offline in and outside the MLS (there are some good deals that can be found here).We are specializing in Tucson and the surrounding, but we can provide good leads in other areas as well.  

However, housing WHERE you want it, HOW you want it, and at a price YOU want to pay, well that's goes far beyond a "right".There have been many many solutions presented to improve housing affordability, like revamping our asinine building codes, reducing the cost of litigation, rewriting insanely punitive legislation such as the CRLTO, providing tax credits or reducing taxes, and increasing subsidies while reducing the red-tape associated with using those subsidies.

I was thinking that would throw up a red flag somewhere.
