The local tv station loves the crazy idea and will do a story on it.  

On opposite corners of an intersection are different gas stations, Heck I have even seen the same brand on opposite corners.

Catskill doesn't have a train station so I thought this might be a good way to bring tourists from NYC over to Catskill.  

Im in College Station which is similar enough to Lubbock that I feel comfortable giving this advice. 

You'll need to know if your site will gravity feed to sewer, need easements to cross other properties, or will need a pump station or grinder pumps for each home.  

Ft Mcpherson is getting a major overhaul in addition to the Tyler Perry studio they are planning a mixed use project with restaurants, condos, townhomes, businesses and a school - all walking distance to ft Mcpherson Marta station.

I was almost half empty on gas just the other day so I drove into the gas station for a fill up.

Like Philly  Balt  Detroit  Indy  those are areas were a wholesaler can do well.. you have the inventory sitting there waiting for you.In your market your not going to drive down the street and see 10 boards ups .. or one or two for that matter like you do in these other areas.. those are the province for most wholesalers.I was just in Cinnci.. that train left the station there as well. that's a very tough market.. as well. but up in middle part of the state of ohio and going north still lots of distressed homes.. 

You can find a motivated seller two houses down from you, in the gas station, or across the states.
