I agree it comes down to what you are trying to accomplish.

A local meet up is a great idea for networking, creating contacts and helping other like minded individuals to accomplish their goals!

Hope you accomplish that goal :) I invest for the same reason!

I concur that two veterans can join together and buy a 6-plex (plus office unit) for a total of 7-units, although I hope one day to hear of this actually being accomplished haha!

I think as long as you are motivated and a hard worker you can accomplish anything that dream of. 

Real estate is unique, so is each transaction.Many factors come into play, the scope of the transaction, the price and assumptions of risk, personal and financial considerations, knowledge of the parties, how negotiations are accomplished, any misleading information relied upon, any laws violated, is it a deal that a prudent person would engage in??????

So our only option is SFH for what we are trying to accomplish now. 

Who would you use as a mortgage servicer...and how would you accomplish that?..
