It's a property I think works for me to get my feet wet.I started my MBA about 6 months ago and someone else in my class has expressed interest in investing with me.

The rates are similar for both American and foreign investors. 

There's the expression that if you show me someone who hasn't lost any money in Real Estate and I'll show you someone I wouldn't do business with.

Recent recommendations from HUD are calling this practice discrimination.Automatically disqualifying them based on their criminal record - which could be decades old, may not ever have resulted in a conviction or jail time, and gives no consideration to their behavior since the arrest - can be a form of discrimination.The reasoning behind this recommendation is that nearly 1/3 of Americans have a criminal record, and a disproportionate amount of those with a record are minorities.

For a number of reasons, we feel like it's a good time to invest in the Kelowna real estate market (i.e. single family, condo, townhouse, etc.)Can anybody recommend a real estate agent in the Kelowna area who has experience with foreign investors, ideally American investors?  

Just go to the site and go to Invest => View Investments and scroll down until you find the Princton one (it should be 2nd or 3rd row since it's a recent fund).On the one hand I applaud PoL for being on their game on offerings but man it's so hard and frustrating to get in on a good loan.And by "good" I mean one in flyover country where the ARV is something a regular American could afford to buy from the flipper (aka: viable exit strat for flipper). 

Doesn't matter because I just made the average American's annual salary.
