It was great having roommates and tenants pay my expensive mortgages, so that I had a little more time for important things like surfing, exploring jungles, cliff-jumping and scuba diving.

Typically not as much crime in East Memphis, and some of the better city schools are located here.Cordova is a much newer suburb of Memphis, I'm not as familiar with this area, but it seems to me that the original residents of the brand new homes are starting to leave and sell their homes to investors - which is leading to a decline in value and asset class.

I attended Highschool at Franklin High School.  

My wife is narrowly focused on Issaquah area, for school district, convenience, and easy access.

It's not a distressed property, excellent location and 8+ school rating, owner doesn't want to rent after current family members move out.

I went to Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh for school - my undergrad education is in Architecture so I have all the tools at my disposal to design value-add spaces and as a bonus I'm pretty good at coloring in between the lines.

At that point the possibilities are endless, we have visions of flipping and wholesaling during the school season and enjoying our family during the summer season. 

It's in a decent neighborhood, but the schools aren't great.

It was a bit of a hike for an evening during the week after school and work for me, but it was good.

As your little one gets older, you will probably be interested in school districts.
