We furnish the place, take care of the utilities, clean the place, landscaping, and we fix most property problems ourselves (unless its a major situation like the roof is caving in or the house is sinking....which we have never encountered). 

If that is scamming or deceitful I don’t see how. 

From what Ive encountered, sometimes folks who have large amounts of cash may be sourcing that cash from professions you may not want in your property, especially if you are house hacking with them. 

It was something I haven’t encountered before but we’ll see how it goes!

@Ryan Howell this is the first time I’ve heard of people being scammed in non-qm lending.. it seems more of the broker scamming rather than the Non-Qm lender scamming.

- Saying they purposefully push out phone schedules as a scam.
