I typically keep at least a 6 month safety net for rent and then judge how much more to keep saved on top of that depending on how soon I need to replace something.

Probably not buying it, or negotiating way down due to the fact that I know im going to be making replacements soon.If I already own the place I am setting aside at least 10-15%, but understand if you haven't been doing that for many years prior it is barely going to put a dent in the cost of those items if they all need replaced at once. 

lol but seriously I've had this book for two days and my life is already better, more organized and I can prioritize my day, and know everything that's important in my life gets attention, this is amazing.

@Nick Colamarino  I am one of those guys Nick is talking about  NO WAY NO how.. its my safety net as it were.  

In my estimation, way better returns than the market over time when considering the 'safety'.
