I hate scammers and have inadvertently done business with a couple, but figured it out in time to avoid a problem.Just a couple of points.....I'm more for positive referrals rather than posting bad experiences.

Not pleasant!

There are a lot of pleasant, small towns around there like Imperial, Hillsboro, Barnhart, Pevely, Festus, High Ridge and House Springs.

As the stock market has historically proven, in time, it always goes up, but so does real estate.Decide the level of involvement you would like to have with your investment.

There are subgroup meetings that are smaller and more intimate and there are larger meetings like one that is going on tonight - the DIG trade show.

I thought I was going to get 2 rent payments on May 1 to catch me up - but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the tenants full $1375 rent direct deposit to my account on 4/2!

Trying to save $1000-$2000 now could cost you 5x that in time and issues with the city down the road.  

Realtors exist for many reasons: negotiating your offer, checking clear title, connecting you to reputable home inspectors and contractors, running a CMA and determining the value, possessing intimate knowledge about neighborhoods and areas, reviewing the home inspection and pointing out any red flags - the list goes on and on.Now onto #2 (Turnkey), realize that only 20% of our transactions are Turnkey, and when you work with one of our turnkey companies, and I’m going to capitalize this statement so there’s no confusion whatsoever, YOU WILL BE PAYING THE EXACT SAME PRICE YOU WOULD IF YOU WORKED WITH THEM DIRECTLY.

Honestly, because it will cost you more in time and headache than the $1400, (I'm sure you kept the deposit) just let it go.
