I can see this working if the person requesting you to "release your right to purchase" had an accepted back-up offer on the property, otherwise, what would prevent the seller from entertaining another offer?

Christy Greene,Before you leave for Dallas I would try to contact the local real estate investment clubs and ask them where is the best rental neighborhoods and where to avoid.Personally,I would look for multi family units near the major universities and biggest employers like the airports and entertainment areas.

I know,, I ran several properties with a outdoor pool,one indoor, thankfully no injuries on my watch,, but we had a child drown at a property owned by same company.. they sued... anyone in that situation would.

Most guests want to be near the action and likely wouldn't be willing to drive the 30 minutes necessary to get out of the Nashville metro to an outlying area.Even so, there are some interesting possibilities outside the metro that could be destinations in and of themselves, especially for outdoor types who would be combining a hunting/fishing trip with some time in the city.If Nashville does successfully ban STR, that would likely drive more demand to the outlying areas.

These are smaller 2 or 3 bedroom houses, so the fireplace takes up a huge chunk of area in the living room and makes it virtually impossible to use my entertainment center.
