I originally got into this with a buy and hold mentality (create retirement income) but as I learn I'm beginning to wonder if that's my best strategy.

I am also not sure what he would mean by a "sellers" mentality...that brings up images of car salesman and traveling salespeople.I would say you need to have a business mindset, not a sellers mindset.
