This means it doesn't really matter who is paying the mortgage, it matters what taxpayer is named in the mortgage and what taxpayer is on the title.I have seen scenarios in which parents "give" a rental to a child.

They had stepped in and helped these lower income single parent households to create a community among themselves, getting involved in school activities for the kids, stepping in to watch each others children when necessary, and a lot of other things.Then there is "the missing middle" issue in single family housing which is that builders can't/won't build houses that are what are now considered starter homes.
