I've gathered from browsing a few years-old threads that the REIA scene is pretty dead. 

If you do not wish to invest in additional properties when you pull cash flow park it in a mutual fund or some other investment rather than leaving it sitting dead in a rental property.

The only good news about your uncle owning it all and not being dead (besides not being dead) is I think you’ll avoid probate court.

@Anthony Britto We see a fair amount of BRRRR lending inquiries come into our office in places like New Haven and Hartford (and their immediate surroundings) so I'd say its definitely still possible especially if you're not dead set on pulling every penny back out on the refi.
