The upside to these restrictive laws is that if you can manage to make it work you get a higher average daily rate because the inventory is low.

My tenant get almost daily deliveries from Amazon and Whole Foods, and delivery services ring my front door bell constantly.

Having Baltimore as a keyword alert, I see people, daily, asking where the best place to invest in the city is.

.- To fill vacancies, advertise daily on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, the local newspaper, and in dealerships.  

This is like working at a fast food place per hour or worse.With the leases for commissions at least some decent money could be made such as a Starbucks lease signed for 10 years with a value of 70,000 over 10 years so at 3% tenant rep broker fee 21,000 could be made.
