This means you are saying that you intend to live in the property for the next year.

My CPA says STR "A" can only deduct expenses for STR property "A", and only up to income level.

Husband and I are purchasing a property as our private residence that also has a small cottage on it we plan to STR. 

I would also expect the bank-owned properties to redeem.
