I would focus on 1 area and build your team of contractors, brokers, agents and PM and become an area expert as they say.

If you are serious about learning as part of a team and that is not an option with your current brokerage you should consider moving your license to the other brokerage.

Hi Brendon,Unless you have a great boots on ground team and know the market, it is difficult to purchase and manage out of state properties.

Despite the background I have in the area, it is absolutely crucial to visit the area frequently, make good contacts and build trusting relationships in order to get a good 'team' in place.
