CR itself is not unlike many of the countries around it -- beautiful beaches, both oceans, rainforest, mountains, etc ... however that didn't stop the US tourism industry from branding it "exotic and safe" and US folks traveled there en masse for the next two decades, much to the displeasure of . . . every country around it!

If they're below market rent at the moment, I would reach out to that case worker when the current lease expires and request it be increased to market rents to maximize that cash flow.
