They want to move  to an apt for seniors and use the rental income to help pay for the expense of their new place.

@Rita Merlo  something else to think about; even if population of US Citizens decreases, it doesn't mean we won't open the borders up for more immigration in order to get the tax base back. 

Seems it takes a while for some citizens to understand that there actually is an argument to be made for having police and jailing criminals.

Husband is a US citizen, his wife and him just moved back to the states a few months ago and received her green card in December.

My opinion would be you owe on the 2nd then because the senior lien foreclosure was redeemed.

Down payment assistance specifically for senior citizens sounds like age discrimination to me, personally.
